Day 1, Arrive in Dubrovnik, Sunday

You will be transferred from Dubrovnik airport or from your hotel in Dubrovnik to Gruz Harbor where embarkation begins at noon. Later, you will meet your fellow travelers and your cruise manager for an onboard welcome reception and dinner. This evening, you can relax on board or take a stroll through Dubrovnik’s Old Town. Day 2, Dubrovnik – Mljet, Monday

We start the day with breakfast and a walking tour of Dubrovnik, the “Pearl of Adriatic” and a UNESCO World Heritage site. We visit the Rector’s Palace and the Franciscan Monastery’s Pharmacy before returning to the ship. While we set sail for Mljet Island, lunch is served. Mljet National Park features five types of forest, many species of birds, and two deep lakes called Veliko Jezero (Big Lake) and Malo Jezero (Small Lake). This amazing island was supposedly a favorite holiday spot for the Greek hero Ulysses! The evening is at leisure. (B, L)

Day 3, Mljet – Korcula, Tuesday

After breakfast, we enjoy spectacular coastal scenery, en route to Korcula, believed to be the birthplace of the explorer Marco Polo. Our walking tour of Korcula takes us through its narrow, cobble-stone streets and includes a visit to the majestic Gothic-Baroque Cathedral of St. Mark. (B, L)

Day 4, Korcula – Vela Luka, Wednesday

This morning we sail along the beautiful island of Korcula. There is time to swim in the Adriatic Sea. After lunch onboard, we disembark in Vela Luka (the “big harbor”) town, dating back to pre-historic times, and we depart for an afternoon ‘Korcula island tour’. On the island, we visit of an olive oil mill, the Barilo Ethno Museum, and a vineyard for wine and cheese tasting. Afterward, we return to the M/S Prestige, for an evening at leisure. (B, L)

Day 5, Vela Luka – Vis, Thursday

After breakfast, we cruise towards Vis Island, arguably one of the most beautiful islands off the Croatian coast. The small and historic town of Vis was founded around 397 B.C. In 2017 the movie “Mama Mia! Here We Go Again” was filmed here. Our tour of Vis features the town’s waterfront and its spectacular and unspoiled nature. The evening is at leisure. (B, L)

Day 6, Vis – Hvar – Stari Grad, Friday

Our cruise continues towards Hvar, one of the most popular islands in the Adriatic Sea and a rendez-vous point for the international jet-set. The “Croatian Madeira” is also one of the longest islands in the Adriatic. Our sightseeing tour of Hvar includes the first public theatre in Europe, the Franciscan Monastery and many more historical sights. We then sail on to Stari Grad for the night. Onboard our ship tonight, there is the Captain’s dinner with live entertainment and a glass of wine. (B, L, D)

Day 7, Stari Grad – Bol – Split, Saturday

We sail to Bol, home to one of the most breathtaking beaches in Croatia: the Golden Horn. This vast, golden pebble beach is unique in that it changes shape and position depending on the direction of the winds. During lunch on board, we continue sailing to Split. Here, a walking tour shows off the historic inner city, built around the Palace of the Roman Emperor Diocletian, a UNESCO World Heritage site. We also see the remnants of Split’s Roman heritage, its Renaissance and Gothic structures, Jupiter’s Temple, the Peristyle, and the Cathedral. The evening is free to explore even more in Split. Day 8, Depart Split, Sunday

After breakfast, it’s time to disembark. You will be transferred to the airport or your hotel in Split. Alternatively, you can stay on and join one of AMTA escorted tours. (B)
